Tickets are available in the Observatory check-in (two doors down from the main lobby), or save time and buy online anytime.
- Admission ends and last elevator ride up is one hour before the Observatory Bar closes.
- Admission tickets are required to access the Observatory Bar.
- Reservations are not available. All seating and access are based on availability and first come, first serve.
- During peak times, wait times range from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. As a courtesy to other guests, we are unable to seat your group in our Observatory Bar until all members of your party have arrived.
- For parties of 15 or more, please see Group Reservations. We are unable to accommodate walk-in groups larger than 14.

Know Before You Go
As a courtesy to other guests, we are unable to seat your group in our Observatory Bar until all members of your party have arrived.
Due to unforeseen circumstances with our elevator, the Smith Tower Visitor Experience currently requires all guests be able to climb three flights of stairs to access the Observatory. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause in planning your visit.
